Farm listings may be created using publicly available information and can be claimed, corrected or removed by verified producers. Claiming and managing a FarmScout listing is free. Participating producers control their listing details and choose what product, availability and event information to share.
How It Works
FarmScout is an inventory and farm event app for iOS (Android coming soon) that shows what local farms, farm stands, nurseries, seafood markets, vineyards, and independent sellers have in stock, along with experiences and events before you visit.
FarmScout is already live for customers. The more producers who claim their listings and keep availability updated, the more useful the app becomes for shoppers looking for local food, events and experiences before they drive.
Farms and producers can list on FarmScout for free. There are no listing fees.
FarmScout is currently offering free consumer access during our launch promotion while we grow the farm network.
Visibility is driven by useful, current information — including recently updated products, events, hours, and listing details.
Farmers log in to the app and update their inventory and farm events — adding items, removing items, or toggling items on and off as availability changes. Each update refreshes the farm's "last updated" timestamp, which customers see right on the listing.
Farmers markets are listed alongside farms, farm stands, and other local producers. Market operators can manage the list of vendors who attend their market and toggle each vendor on or off as availability changes — so customers see who's actually there today. Markets can add events as well.
